Adjusting Your Equiband Pro Bands

Equiband Pro

How do i determine the correct tension of the bands?

We recommend observing the response of the musculature to different tensions while on the lunge. You may start out at a lower tension and increase once your horse is comfortable. When adjusted correctly, you should notice your horse move with improved posture and higher quality of gait. It might be subtle, but this means your horse is engaging the muscles you’re looking to strengthen.

If the bands are too loose, you may not see improvement or the bands will slip. If they are too tight, you might notice that your horse’s movement is restricted.

If you notice a negative response to the bands, such as an asymmetry in gait, please stop use and contact your veterinarian for advice on your individual horse’s condition.
